Nel pre-partita di Napoli-Verona, Lele Oriali, coordinatore dello staff tecnico azzurro, è intervenuto ai microfoni di DAZN: "Pensiamo partita dopo partita. non abbiamo molte possibilità di far giostrare tutti come vorremmo: non abbiamo tante alternative. quando recupererà qualcuno, magari potremo permettercelo".

Oggi sarà assente Neres, ma non penso che lui sia tutto. il merito va anche alla squadra ed all'allenatore, che nelle difficoltà si è sempre ben districato, grazie anche al nostro spirito di squadra".

Sul mercato: "Il mercato non mi compete direttamente, perciò non posso esprimermi più di tanto sul possibile ritorno di Raspadori, anche se ammetto che mi piacerebbe rivederlo in azzurro: sarebbe utile sia a noi che alla Nazionale".
