Vergara alla Uefa: "Che emozione il gol, lo facevo sempre in allenamento"

Antonio Vergara è stato senza dubbio il migliore in campo per il Napoli nella sconfitta contro il Chelsea che ha causato l'eliminazione dalla Champions League. Fosse arrivato anche il pass per i playoff, sarebbe stata una serata da favola per il classe 2003 azzurro. Ma resta comunque una notte da ricordare, alla luce del primo gol (e che gol!) con la prima squadra e in Champions League.

Il trequartista, prodotto del vivaio, nel post-partita è intervenuto al microfono della UEFA: "È stato emozionante segnare al Maradona, ma siamo molto delusi per l'eliminazione. Come ho inventato il gol? E' qualcosa che provo in allenamento, mi dicono che mi piego per proteggere la palla, ci ho provato e ha funzionato. Ma come ho detto è deludente il risultato finale".
