Retroscena De Bruyne: fu preso per Allegri, con Conte non ha mai legato

Emerge un interessante retroscena sul Napoli raccontato da Repubblica, che riguarda l’arrivo di Kevin De Bruyne e il futuro della panchina azzurra. Secondo il quotidiano, il presidente Aurelio De Laurentiis avrebbe deciso di puntare sul fuoriclasse belga in un momento in cui sembrava imminente l’approdo di Massimiliano Allegri come nuovo allenatore, destinato a raccogliere l’eredità di Antonio Conte. Un’operazione pianificata con una prospettiva tecnica diversa da quella che poi si è concretizzata, visto che Conte è rimasto alla guida della squadra dopo la conquista dello scudetto.

Il rapporto mai sbocciato tra Conte e De Bruyne

Sempre secondo quanto riportato da Repubblica, tra Antonio Conte e Kevin De Bruyne non sarebbe mai nato un vero feeling. All’interno del Training Center di Castel Volturno, questa situazione sarebbe stata nota da tempo e avrebbe contribuito ad alimentare alcune riflessioni sul futuro tecnico del club. L’acquisto del centrocampista belga sarebbe stato infatti pensato per un progetto guidato da Allegri, arrivato però soltanto un anno più tardi rispetto alle previsioni iniziali. Una coincidenza che rende ancora più particolare il retroscena, considerando che De Bruyne e Conte non avrebbero mai sviluppato un rapporto particolarmente stretto durante la loro esperienza condivisa in azzurro.
